How to Get to AT&T Stadium for the World Cup
AT&T Stadium sits in Arlington — the largest U.S. city with no passenger rail to its downtown. There's no train straight to the gates, but the match-day route is simple once you know it. Here's every way in.
The train + shuttle route (recommended)
This is the official, lowest-stress way to the stadium on a match day — and it skips all the parking chaos.
- Board the TRE. Catch the Trinity Railway Express at Victory Station (downtown Dallas) or Central Station (downtown Fort Worth). Buy your ticket in the GoPass app.
- Ride to CentrePort / DFW Airport Station. It's the closest rail stop to the stadium. Note: there is no game-day parking at this station.
- Hop the free charter bus. Complimentary buses run from CentrePort to the Bus Hub just north of the stadium. A valid match ticket is required, and service runs on match days only.
- Walk 10 minutes. From the Bus Hub it's a short, signed walk to the gates. ADA-accessible vans and carts are available for fans who need them.
Driving & parking
Arlington is about 20 miles from downtown Dallas — typically a 25–35 minute drive, or up to 45 minutes in match-day traffic. If you drive, the single most important thing to know: you must pre-purchase stadium parking.
There are no on-site parking sales on match days, inventory is limited, and lots are selling out. Buy ahead through JustPark. Tailgating is allowed but will look different from a normal Cowboys game day.
Rideshare & taxi
Uber, Lyft, and taxis are routed to the Arlington Esports Stadium parking lot for drop-off and pick-up — about a 10-minute walk from the stadium. Drivers enter on Ballpark Way (1200 Ballpark Way, Arlington). The rideshare lot runs from 5 hours before until 3 hours after each match.
Arlington Red Trolley (for district hotel guests)
Staying in an Arlington Entertainment District hotel? The Red Trolley is free — just grab a trolley pass at your hotel front desk. Service starts 4 hours before kickoff.
Coming from the airport
From DFW International, connect by rail via the DART Orange Line, TEXRail, or the TRE. From Dallas Love Field, take the Love Link bus to the DART Green or Orange Line. The GoPass app covers DART, Trinity Metro, and the TRE on one pass.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a train directly to AT&T Stadium?
No. The TRE gets you to CentrePort/DFW Airport Station, then a free match-day charter bus and a 10-minute walk finish the trip.
How early should I arrive?
Plan for roughly 1.5 hours from downtown. Stadium transit service begins 5 hours before kickoff — earlier is better, since wait times build close to match time.
Where do Ubers and taxis drop off?
At the Arlington Esports Stadium lot (1200 Ballpark Way), about a 10-minute walk from the stadium.
Can I park at the stadium on match day?
Only if you pre-buy through JustPark. There are no on-site sales on match days and spots sell out.
